Locality:Route 41 road cut, 9.6 km east of Griffith, Ontario, Canada
Description:Large, distinct pink-brown albite pseudomorphs after scapolite crystals (either meionite or marialite) with greenish epidote surface coating in areas. The albite replaced the scapolite atom by atom resulting in new composition but retaining the form. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #14076; ex. Dick Stimer in 1973
